Project Name: Sonoma Library and Early Childhood Education Centre Project

Construct a new library including an early childhood education centre at the Sonoma Adventist College in Kokopo, East New Britain Province. The new facilities will increase access to education for women by providing safe childcare opportunities, as well as increase accessibility and quality of early childhood education training for local students. The facility will increase research and study opportunities in a safe environment, provide appropriate early childhood education for between 20 to 30 children annually, reduce barriers to women’s participation in education, and increase access to qualified early childhood educators, with at least 15 students annually able to access new practicum opportunities.
