Nazarene Hospital Expansion Project

To expand the hospital to better serve patient volumes and allow room for continued future clinical growth. This will be achieved through extensions and refurbishments to existing facilities and construction of new facilities, specifically, the medical supply storage and laundry, administration, pharmacy and laboratory buildings, including a new upgraded incinerator.

Sub-Health Centre Upgrade at Bosset

Provide expanded and improved health-care services to the people of Bosset and the catchment villages through the construction and furnishing of the health centre and patient wards, maternity ward, staff houses, incinerator, workshop, generator shed and fencing.

Mt Hagen Health Infrastructure Development

Mt Hagen Catholic Health Services was awarded an Incentive Fund grant to launch projects in 4 communities: Kuruk, Fatima, Mun and Rabiamul. Alotau General Hospital Facilities Upgrade

Provision of an operating theatre complex, a surgical ward, 8 nurse units, one house, 2 duplexes and a six-room hostel, 5 other staff houses and refurbishing or upgrading of the laundry, kitchen, incinerator and water and electricity.

Rural Health and Sanitation Program

Improve health and sanitation of rural areas through the construction of water supply systems and improved latrines.

Lutheran School of Nursing and Pacific Adventist University Nursing Facilities Upgrade

New facilities and accommodation were built for teachers and students at the Lutheran School of Nursing. Pacific Adventist University was also awarded an Incentive Fund grant to develop advanced teaching facilities.

Salvation Army Health Project

The Incentive Fund funded improved health facilities and training and workshops for the villages in Central, Eastern Highlands, Gulf and Northern provinces.

Alotau General Hospital Facilities Upgrade

Alotau General Hospital in Milne Bay Province received its first grant under Phase 1 of the Incentive Fund in 2003. Nazarene Health Ministries: Kudjip Hospital Expansion Project

Nazarene Health Ministries has received 3 Incentive fund grants, the first in 2006. The grants have supported the Nazarene Hospital to reach Provincial Hospital status and better serve the 60,000 people who use the hospital each year.
